Wolraad Woltemade Primary School is a dual-medium school located in Bothasig, Western Cape and covers all learning areas from Grade R up to Grade 7.
The current school facility was erected in 1975 and the Department of Education asked the new school committee to use the name Wolraad Woltemade because of the heroic history of the famous Wolraad Woltemade. The school started with 490 learners and 21 staff members and caters for learners from all cultures, religions, genders, races, etc.
The school anthem “There’s a Prince who will live in our Thinking” was written by Dirkie De Villiers and the music composed by his wife Doll De Villiers.
